Brittney Odom Dunn is the owner of Brittney Dunn, CPA LLC. In 2008 she received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Louisiana State University of Shreveport. Prior to starting her business in 2017, she gained her experience by working at several CPA firms and as the assistant controller of an Oil & Gas company.
Her professional expertise includes individual and business tax return preparation, personal financial education, monthly financials analyzation and preparation, income tax projections, monthly sales and payroll taxes, new business registrations, and small business consulting. Community service is her passion and she aspire to dedicate her adult years to investing time in educating the community in financial literacy and economics.
Her community involvement includes serving on the Board of Directors for The Caddo Council on Aging, serving as the Chairwoman of the Shreveport African American Chamber of Commerce, serving as a board member of the Zoning Board of Appeals, serving as a treasurer of Iota Rho Omega of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc, serving as a board member for North Louisiana United Way, and recently appointed to the Democratic Parish Executive Committee for District 10. She strives every day to educate minority business owners by teaching them the required compliance for their business, how to manage their cash flow, and how to grow their business.
